Andrea Blum

L’œuvre intitulée Nomadic House est une pièce d’architecture d’intérieur, conçue comme une structure polyvalente qui répond aux fonctions vitales, sociales ou privées dans un esprit d’économie d’espace, d’économie de moyens et d’ergonomie : une structure en croix en acier gris perforé organise le dispositif modulaire qui intègre, par un système qui coulisse, ou encore par un principe de paroi évidée, des éléments de mobilier…

Andrea Blum was born in New York City and received her education at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts/Tufts and the Art Institute of Chicago. She has built permanent projects in California, Ohio, Minneapolis, Wisconsin, and Boston, as well as France, the Netherlands, and England. The East 107th St. Recreational Pier is her first permanent project in New York City.
