Julia Davis is an Australian artist who lives and works in Sydney. Her site-specific works explore the idea that landscape is cultural space—a space informed by and informing culture. She investigates the relationships between objects, places and spaces through spatial, public and temporal intervention and uses a wide range of materials, processes and contextual sitings.
Julia Davis completed a Master of Visual Arts at Sydney College of the Arts in 2006. She has since exhibited widely and won numerous prizes and awards.
